Since my 30th bday falls during the Holiday Season I wanted to do something to give back to the community.

On Dec 9th I have reserved the party room in my building which has a 120 person capacity. Alexjwilson.com has provided a $1,000.00 donation which will go towards covering the DJ, open bar (with bartenders) and other special party favours for the evening.

Now this is the important part – Tickets will be sold in advance for $20.00 each AND all proceeds from this will be going towards throwing a Christmas Party the next week at a local Woman’s Shelter.

The children and woman at this shelter have had a rough go and in the spirit of the season we wanted to provide them with a day of happiness and giving to take their minds off the past and give them something to look forward to in the future.

ALSO – Emily Dobbie of Vocado: Women’s Fashion in Liberty Village and Oakville will be accepting lightly used business clothing at her store from Monday, November7th to Friday, December 9th. In exchange she will provide a 15% discount at the shop. We will then be donating this clothing to the shelter.

When you are forced out of your homes due to these situations it is generally with only the clothes on your back.

By simply attend what will sure to be an epic party you could make a HUGE difference in these families lives. Everyone needs a helping hand sometimes and this is your opportunity to provide your.
